Can soft closing and non soft closing concealed hinges be used in combination with other hinges?
No, they can't because of their different kinematics.
Explanation:
Kinematics describes a door's movement specific to the hinge it is mounted on. Opening doors with multiple pivot hinges requires a side reveal next to the door because the door is first moved sidewards to permit the door hinging movement. Depending on the concealed hinge kinematics, the reveal required may be larger or smaller.

Can the MultiBlue hole marking jig be used for marking all door mounting options?
No, the template can only be used for concealed hinges in overlay and centre panel mounting applications.
For inset doors, door thickness must also be added to the 37 mm hole line distance on the cabinet body side.

Is the Veosys compatible with the Sensys range?
No, the Veosys range is intended for applications with high demands on corrosion. This means it is not a hinge for broadening the portfolio for standard applications.

What can result in slower closing for a 2m height door with 4 concealed hinges?
With tall doors mounted on more than 2 concealed hinges, improper installation can quickly lead to distortions that impair the way in which the door functions. They may be attributed to the following reasons:
- Tolerances in furniture production: are all holes drilled in the correct diameter and at the correct distances? Particularly in applications involving a high number of fittings, tolerances can add up and create greater error potential.
- Level standing for the piece of furniture: an inclination of a few degrees has a greater influence on very tall cabinets than it does on lower ones. Before fitting the door, always first check to make sure the cabinet is level and standing firmly.
- Concealed hinge installation: are the concealed hinges correctly positioned or twisted (always check for this with Tx52 in particular)?
- Even reveals and gap: distortion is produced even if only 1 out of 3 concealed hinges shows incorrect depth of lateral adjustment. The door is relatively rigid; maladjustment of just one concealed hinge will result in a door distortion that must be corrected by the fittings. This produces internal friction in the fittings, resulting in sluggish door movement.
- Clipping the hinges onto the mounting plate without tension: if the concealed hinge will not clip onto the mounting plate, the distances are not right. Recommendation: only tighten the mounting plates once all the concealed hinges have been clipped in place so as to enable the fittings to assume the correct spacing.
Correct number of concealed hinges: door dimension and weight determine the correct number of concealed hinges to use. Please check against the number specified in the marketing documentation.

Where is Veosys typically used?
The hinge was developed for use outdoors and in shipbuilding. Other applications are markets that place high demands on corrosion, such as coastal regions.
